In the beginning of this year (in January, of course) there was a luxurious rangefinder camera coming from Leica, which was called Safari M8. It was expensive like hell, as you must have had $10,000 in order to purchase one of these limited edition cameras. If you were interested in it, then it must have made an impressive hole in your bank account. Or not, if you took into consideration to have one of your own, ‘cause this means you have… the means.

Anyway, the German camera manufacturer decided to release another special edition of the Safari M8, this one being an all-white version of the previous one. And here you have a picture of the first one that is already made. The white Safari M8 will be part of a very, very limited edition, just like the original camera, which means that only a small number of cameras will be available in the market.

Unfortunately, the price is still unknown, but if we take into consideration the fact that the previous one was sold for the spectacular price of $10,000, I can’t find a reason why the company would decide to make this one cheaper. If you’re interested in buying it, you can call the toll free number of Leica and ask for some information.

The new Safari M8 Leica rangefinder is hand-made (actually assembled) and the materials it is made of are the best available right now.
